Description: 1961 THE HARTFORD INSURANCE vintage magazine advertisement "Hayden's Keg"

~ Hayden's Keg - a symbol of faith that linked North and South during the Civil War. - Heat was still drifting gently from the blackened remains of the burned buildings. Here and there a faint wisp of steam hovered over the water-soaked embers. The fire that had destroyed a part of Charleston, South Carolina, was over. But in its place burned a great question in the minds of the men gathered there on December 11, 1861. ~
